Description

Professor Robert Keith Wallace and Professor William Sands will be presenting some of Maharishi’s landmark lectures during his early days of teaching. These beautiful and rarely seen historical videos are followed by discussions about Maharishi and his unfoldment of supreme Vedic Knowledge.

This course consists of eight lessons on Monday and Wednesday evenings: 4/24 – 5/17, 7:45 – 9:15 Dalby Hall. FIRST LESSON IS FREE!

(If you need to miss any of the lessons, you can view them at your convenience at the MUM Library.)

The course fee is $75, (or $50 for full-time MUM or MSAE staff, faculty, and students, or full-time TM teachers, IAA grant recipients, and anyone who is retired and on a fixed income and cannot otherwise afford the course.)

Course Leaders: Professor Robert Keith Wallace and Professor William Sands



Dr. Wallace is a Trustee of Maharishi University of Management and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physiology and Health. He was the founding President of Maharishi University of Management and established the first Maharishi AyurVeda Clinics in the United States. He began working with Maharishi in 1964, and in that capacity traveled worldwide giving lectures at major universities and institutes on Maharishi’s consciousness-based health programs. Dr. Wallace is the author of two books, The Neurophysiology of Enlightenment, The Physiology of Consciousness, and co-author of two books, Victory Before War, and Dharma Parenting.



Dr. Sands is the Dean of the College of Maharishi Vedic Science at Maharishi University of Management and Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science and Sanskrit. He completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, and received an MA and PhD from Maharishi University of Management. He has worked in various capacities in Maharishi’s worldwide organizations for over 40 years, including 12 years directly with Maharishi at his international headquarters in Holland. He has published a number of articles on Maharishi Vedic Science and is the author of two books, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and His Gift to the World and Maharishi’s Yoga: The Royal Path to Enlightenment.

Is there a prerequisite for this course?

Yes. The prerequisite for this course is completion of the TM course. Everyone taking this course should regularly practice the TM technique. For more information about TM, please visit http://tm.org.

Can I make up a lesson that I missed?

Yes. The videos of Maharishi will be available to watch at the MUM Library for course participants. You can watch the videos as many times as you want. We also plan to audio record the class discussions and make them available at the library as well..

Can I take this course online?

Sorry, but this course is offered on-campus only.


Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

If you have learned the TM-Sidhi program, a valid dome badge is required. (If you need to apply for a dome badge, please go to http://invincibleamerica.org/apply/.) If you are an MUM student or staff, then please bring either your MUM ID or dome badge, if you have one. Otherwise, if you have not learned the TM-Sidhis and are not an MUM student or staff, please bring a photo ID.
